This weekend also coincides with the Oxford Literary Festival, and Oxford for Europe will hold a short but high-profile public event in Broad Street, Oxford on Friday 23rd March, timed to tie in with a ‘Hertford Conversations’ discussion that morning in the Sheldonian Theatre between Andrew Adonis and Will Hutton about their forthcoming book Saving Britain: What Europe Does For Us and How to Keep the Best of It. [Abacus, June 2018].
Oxford for Europe’s event will follow that talk, starting at 11:15am at a location close to the Sheldonian Theatre, with statements by Lord Adonis and Will Hutton, local campaigners and stakeholders affected by Brexit, a representative of Our Future, Our Choice [OFOC], and pro-European Oxford groups, ending with a rendering by local choirs of the EU anthem.
